Welcome to all website members, Club members, and visitors to our site! If you would like to be able to participate in our Forum or add pictures to our Gallery, you must register for this website. Click the word "Register" on the left, follow the instructions, then be sure to look in your e-mail for a message from the site. It should arrive in your inbox immediately. There will be a link in that message that you must click to confirm your registration. After you do so, your site membership will be approved by the webmaster and you will be able to participate in all areas of this website. If you are interested in becoming a member of the club, please print out the Club Membership form. Send it to the address listed, or e-mail your completed form to our Membership chairman. The February meeting is set for Thursday, Feb. 11 at 7:00pm at Wick's Pizza. See this article for details. We have arranged with Wick's to make this our permanent meeting place, so you will always find us there at 7:00pm on the second Thursday of each month. In the event that the meeting location changes, there will be an announcement to that effect on this website. We are looking forward to participating in the St. Patrick's Day Parade again this year. It is always such a fun event and we hope you will plan to attend. The date is Saturday, March 13 at 3:00pm. See this article for more information.

Happy New Year to all our members and visitors! May the new year bring happiness and prosperity to you. We hope you gardening exceeds all your expectations this year!

The next meeting is scheduled for January 14, 2010 at 7:00pm. Read the details in this article. Hope to see you at the meeting!

Our next big event is the Highlands St. Patrick's Parade in March. We will be giving out shamrock plants again this year.

Happy Holidays to all Club members and site visitors! The Club has been very busy lately. We had our booth at the St. Leonard Christmas Bazaar, then we made the centerpieces for the OHNA Holiday Dinner. The centerpieces turned out beautifully, and it was a great evening. Eight club members and their guests were present at the dinner, and a good time was had by all! Everyone seemed to appreciate our work. You can see pictures of the centerpiece assembly line here in our Gallery. Our Christmas party and December meeting was a wonderful success, with about 12 people attending. Thanks to Judy Hetland for being such a great hostess! We also elected new officers for 2010 and appointed new committee chairs. Our next meeting will be held on January 14 at the home of Julie Hedger. More details will be posted here soon. We are trying to work out a plan to begin having our meetings in a more public location, at the same place each month. We will announce this plan as soon as the details are worked out. Our next Club project will be to do more Winter Sowing. We will probably do this sometime in January or early February. If you have not already done so, please consider registering on this website, so you can participate in our Forum. There is a Club membership form on the site that you can print and fill out, if you are interested in joining the Club. Just mail it in and we will contact you about upcoming Club plans. There are no dues to join the Fleur-de-Lis GArden Club, and we would love to see more people get involved! Any Louisville area resident is welcome to join - not just residents of the Original Highlands.
